Our obligations extend to any contractors we may use in the provision of our services to you. All officers, employees, and contractors of Healthie:)Reception are required to work according to the Privacy Principles and to treat personal information they may see with care and confidentiality. Any breach of these requirements would be a breach of contract.

2. Why Does Healthie:)Reception Collect Information?
The information collected and stored by Healthie:)Reception is for a purpose that is lawful and directly related to the activity of Healthie:)Reception – that is, to provide support to your business service. Information is obtained for the following purposes and all purposes associated with them:
- To provide your practice with reception, administration, marketing, and billing services;
- To schedule appointments for patients;
- To take all relevant patient identification details and input them directly into your business software solutions (customer relationship management) data files and systems.
Information will be collected directly from you, your employees, and/or contractors or your patients unless you make Healthie:)Reception aware of incoming information from third parties, such as referrals, pathology, or x-ray results.
3. Security of the Information
Our use of business software solutions (customer relationship management) programs ensures that electronic information, including your patients’ health records, is stored securely and access is only granted to authorised personnel. Similarly, we have systems in place to ensure the protection of hard copy information in accordance with the Privacy Principles. Your and your patients’ information is protected against loss, unauthorised access, use, modification, disclosure, or any other misuse.

4. Making Sure Your Information is Accurate
We ensure record-keeping is accurate and up-to-date to enable you to conduct your practice at a highly professional standard. As humans physically typing information often by ear or in translation, this prevents a 100% accuracy guarantee.
Information used on or in your business service remains your business responsibility to be timely supplied to Healthie:)Reception. We may contact you or take other reasonable steps to ensure that your information is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
Voice recording information is only stored in our third-party secured data centre for a maximum of 4 days before automatic deletion based on international time clock.
If you believe that any information we hold is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant, or misleading, please contact us by email. We will respond within a reasonable time and endeavour to promptly correct any inaccuracies.
If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles and wish to make a complaint, please contact us at the email address below.
5. Accessing the Information
We may assist you in circumstances where your patients request access to their information. There may be reasonable administration costs involved, which we will inform you of as soon as practicable. In special circumstances, under applicable privacy legislation provisions, you may refuse a patient access to their records.
6. How Will Healthie:)Reception Use and Disclose Personal Information?
Healthie:)Reception will use your information in a way that is consistent with or directly related to the purpose for which it is collected.
There may be circumstances where we are obligated by law to disclose your or your patients’ information, including:

8. Storage and Security
We are committed to ensuring the information you provide is secure. Offsite data storage is used to store inbound voice recordings for a maximum of 4 days based on international clock. WAV file communications are automatically emailed to your business for review and will not be used for training or advertising purposes without consent from all parties within a call recording.
